The COVID-19 pandemic, is a significant factor influencing the progress of organizing as well as carrying out scientific gatherings such as conferences and workshops! In this frame, this year, the well-known EASN International Conference went fully virtual for its 10th edition that was dedicated to “Innovation in Aviation & Space to the Satisfaction of the European Citizens”.
SAFELAND was delighted to participate in this year's EASN virtual conference. Dr. Stefano Bonelli, SAFELAND Coordinator from Deep Blue, Italy will present the aims and the objectives of the project during the “Human Factors towards Increasing Automation & Autonomy (SAFEMODE)” Session. The session will be chaired by Mr. Simone Pozzi from Deep Blue. The Human Factors towards Increasing Automation & Autonomy (SAFEMODE) session is scheduled the 1st Day of the EASN Conference, 02.09.2020 and starts at 14:30 CET, while the presentation of SAFELAND will be performed at 15:30 CET. The focus will be on the Human in the loop simulation planned in the project, putting together air traffic controllers, pilots & dispatchers. Don't miss it!
